In addition to being home to the Harford Gymnastics Center and the Dance Conservatory of Maryland, Millstad's forty acres encompass sports fields, picnic grounds and rustic buildings, making it a perfect location for company picnics, family reunions and country weddings.

A creek runs through the lower forested West end, and a nature trail circumnavigates the property. Giant maple and oak trees line the drive to the Great Hall. Kitchen facilities and recreational facilities are located within and around the Great Hall and other buildings, and open maintained grass fields and rolling hills complete the scene. Beautiful outdoor surroundings, historical structures, and modern amenities are the hallmark of Millstad.
